Framed as a new electoral module, Node Elections examines Green blockchain applications in food, recycling, energy, and carbon management sectors through a systemic policy making approach.
The two-parted installation consists of a digital voting platform that exposes the hidden costs of blockchain technology, and a physical desk of an exhausted policy maker highlighting the missing information required to support claimed-benefits of this technology presented by the companies that develop it.
The audience is asked to vote on the four different proposals, and then are welcomed to go behind the scenes to read about compiled research regarding blockchain technology applications in environmental public sectors through the lens of a policy maker.
